An Aviation Enthusiast´s Kit Collection Home How it All Began Plastic Kits 50´s & 60´s Plastic Kits 1970 up Various Topics Books 50´s & 60´s Contact           back to Siku Selbstbau Model Toys       Siku Selbstbau-Auto (Build Yourself Car) I bought this Siku Selbstbau-Auto (Build Yourself Car) only to get the photocopy of the 1955 Siku catalogue which was offered by the seller together with the model toy  car. In this catalogue the Siku Selbstbau Fugzeug (Build Yourself Aircraft ) was displayed, which ranks high in my memory of my modlling past. Originaly I wanted to resell this car and just keep the catalogue, but when held it in my hands I liked it so much, that I decided to add it to my collection. This model kit is reminiscent of a 1949 Ford. Package styles are discussed and pictured in the general Siku Selbstbau section , too.
