Hobby-Time Kits - Sources and Notes

[1] The company history was derived from the sources listed on the right.

There are no primary sources apart for the company name Western Coil & Electrical Co. It is confirmed by the mark: " Copyright by Coil & Electrical Co. Racine, Wis." on the boxes or instruction sheets (for example on the instruction sheet of the Martin XB-51 , and on the boxtop).

On some boxes and instruction sheets there is the addition "Toy Division of"  to Western Coil & Electrical Co Racine, Wis.

There is no date of issue, neither on the boxes, card inlets, nor on the instruction sheets of the Hobby-Time kits  in my collection.

So I adopt the dates given by Burns and Superczynski.
